The new Center, located on the second floor of 240 East 59th Street (at Second Avenue), will offer appointments with a comprehensive range of spine specialists \u2014 including pain management specialists, physiatrists, neurologists, and neurosurgeons \u2014 all under one roof.<\/p>\n<p>Under the leadership of <a title=\"Dr. Roger Hartl\" href=\"http:\/\/weillcornellbrainandspine.org\/faculty\/roger-hartl-md\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr. Roger H\u00e4rtl<\/a>, the state-of-the-art spine center will allow those suffering from back pain to receive examinations, treatments, and continuing care in one convenient location. The only such facility of its kind in New York, the Center for Comprehensive Spine Care promises its patients relief not only from back pain, but also from the frustration of navigating the health care maze. In this new paradigm for the delivery of spine care, a patient whose back pain requires almost any kind of therapy \u2014 injections, physical therapy, pain management \u2013 will be able to receive services in one comprehensive center. A patient who needs an evaluation by a neurosurgeon will have access to that consultation on site as well.<\/p>\n<p>Procedure room: Weill Cornell Medicine Center for Comprehensive Spine Care<\/p>\n<p>Four neurosurgeons from the Weill Cornell Medicine Brain and Spine Center, all specialists in advanced minimally invasive spine techniques as well as reconstructive spine surgery, will offer appointments at the new facility. Dr. H\u00e4rtl will be joined by <a title=\"Dr. Eric Elowitz\" href=\"http:\/\/weillcornellbrainandspine.org\/faculty\/eric-h-elowitz-md\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr. Eric Elowitz<\/a>, <a title=\"Dr. Kai-Ming Fu\" href=\"http:\/\/weillcornellbrainandspine.org\/faculty\/kai-ming-fu-md-phd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr. Kai-Ming Fu<\/a>, and <a title=\"Dr. Ali Baaj\" href=\"http:\/\/weillcornellbrainandspine.org\/faculty\/ali-baaj-md\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr. Ali Baaj<\/a> in offering surgical consultations and pre-operative visits at the spine center location.
